04/10/2017 - HS BOYS TRACK - Hounds At Hawks Relays

The FM Bloodhound boy's track team participated in the Central Lee Hawks Relays Friday afternoon.  The Hounds came in 2nd Place as a team.  Some Hound results are listed below.

Aaron Steffensmeier was involved in three of four victories. He won the 800 in 2:14.50, the 1,600, and the 4x800-meter relay. He, Jared Kester, Joseph Grabowski and Matt Hellige won in 9:36.68.

Hellige had the other first place finish, winning the 3,200 in 10:55.04. Teammate Dayne Cordray was second in 11:24.84.

The 4x200 team of Kester, Grabowski, Cordray and Matt Meierotto finished 2nd in 1:47.85. The 4x400 team of Quentin Schneider, Kester, Steffensmeier and Zander Schweiss placed 2nd as well. 

Elijah Barnes came in 2nd in the shot put at 43-11 3/4, with Dylan Eid 6th in 22-5 3/4.

Schneider placed 3rd in the 400 (:56.8), with Schweiss 5th (1:02.86).

Meierotto was 4th in the 800 (2:31.40).

Alex Gully took 4th in the 200 (:24.61) and Shance Redd-Donald 5th (:24.93). Gully was 5thin the 100 (:11.76) and Shance Redd-Donald 6th (:12.35).

Redd-Donald placed 5th in the long jump at 18-1. Heath Hoenig was 5th in the discus (90-5).

The sprint medley relay team of Gully, Logan Rashid, Redd-Donald and Quentin Schneider placed 4th in 1:45.42. In wheelchair events, Blake Gehle raced the 100 dash in :37.96 and the 200 in 1:14.41
