10/12/2013 - HS FOOTBALL - Fairfield vs Hounds
The FM Bloodhound Football Team was host to the Fairfield Trojans for their Homecoming Game Friday night, October 11th at Richmond Stadium. The Hounds almost earned their Homecoming Victory against Fairfield...losing a hard fought game in overtime 35-34. The Freshman Hounds defeated the Trojans by a score of 28-8. Some pictures of the freshman and varsity games are in the photo gallery and you can relisten to both broadcasts by going to the audio archive section. More later. Way to Go Hounds!!!  Some stats are listed below.
Cruz Fedler was 7 of 17 for 60 yards, including 4-for-4 for 30 yards to Ben Votroubek and two TDs. Alex Hayes rushed for 126 yards on 26 carries and scored three TDs. Kameron Cooper had 51 yards, Nick Wood 46 and Cruz Fedler 40. The Hounds finished with 258 yards on the ground. Jordan Hubbs and Dylan Mabeus recovered a fumble. Alex Hayes led in tackles with nine, Ben Votroubek had seven, Wes Bernhardt five and Dylan Mabeus four. Nick Wood and Pablo Sandoval had three each, Jack Wright and Andy Kendra two and Pauley and Jordan Hubbs one each.
