- HS GIRLS SOCCER - Holy Trinity Beats Keokuk in 2A Quarterfinal
The Holy Trinity Girl's Soccer Team won a Class 2A regional quarterfinal 2-1 over the Keokuk Chiefs Thursday night, May 24th in Keokuk.
It was Emily Lewis scoring with just 18 seconds left to tie the game and force overtime.
Emily Tinguely, Laura Pothitakis, Claire Dupuis and Veronica Wellman scored their penalty kicks. Then Megan Spears made the saves at the goalkeeper position to stop Keokuk and to give the victory to the Lady Crusaders. She had nine saves overall for the match. Way to Go Ladies!!!
